The Annual Banquet
The Chamber’s Annual Banquet is typically held in late March of each year and includes a fun theme and exciting entertainment for the average 350+ attendees. The Banquet celebrate’s the successes of the past year and recognizes notable companies and volunteers that are key to the successful execution the Chamber’s mission. This event sells out every year and many area business leaders have said it is “the best and most fun Chamber Banquet they attend throughout the year.”

Agri-Business Appreciation Dinner
The agricultural community is very important to the economy of Muskogee. We recognize the Agricultural Business community each Fall with an Appreciation dinner.

Generally the first organized golf tournament of the season, the Chamber’s golf outing offers a fun, relaxing, and definitely competitive day in April each year. We include fun games on the holes, great prizes and lunch with your entry. In addition to just being fun, the Chamber Golf Classic provides an effective way to bring your sales team, important clients, prospective customers and partners closer together to build relationships and socialize in a casual environment. Great business deals are made on the golf course! This event sells out every year so be sure to RSVP early.

Women’s Leadership Conference
In partnership with our hosting sponsor, Indian Capital Technology Center, the Chamber hosts a full day conference designed to provide professional and personal development. Women from around the state come together every July for a day of diverse seminars and educational sessions by professional presenters. The conference is carefully planned by a committee of women with the intention of energizing, supporting and educating attendees making this event a must for any female in the business industry from entry level to the CEO. . Attendees also enjoy a fashion show, an amazing lunch, Women in Leadership Awards presentations, and opportunities to build a network and gain the wisdom of 200 other women.

State of the City Address
The Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce serves as a voice and a resource for our business community. In helping meet that mission, we offer many opportunities for your business to connect with your elected officials. Each fall the Chamber hosts a luncheon which gives the Muskogee Mayor and the current leadership of the City of Muskogee the opportunity to highlight the City’s accomplishments and goals for the upcoming year. The event offers the opportunity to stay informed and learn about relevant issues in Muskogee, as well as having lunch with Muskogee’s elected officials and others in the business community. Approximately 350 people attend this event each year.

Magic Holiday Giveaway
Keeping sales tax dollars in Muskogee is an important and on-going effort by the Chamber. We work with the City of Muskogee and local businesses to encourage Muskogee residents and others from surrounding communities to Shop Muskogee. The Chamber promotes retail business through the holiday season with the Magic Holiday GiveAway program. Over 500,000 tickets per year are distributed from Thanksgiving through mid-December to shoppers of participating locations. Cash prizes are awarded weekly and the program culminates with a special event at Arrowhead Mall where one lucky shopper will win $10,000. The event is a great way to get into the spirit of the holidays and support Muskogee at the same time.

The Chamber hosts forums during campaign season to provide opportunities for candidates for federal, state or local office to speak with Chamber members regarding their ideas and plans if elected. Watch for details for a Fall 2017 Forum for Muskogee City Council candidates who will be on the ballot February 13, 2018.
