Pecan Creek Winery presents Making Real Wine from Real Grapes

This Sunday 9/30 2:30-4:30 in the cellar – Join us while we sweep through the vineyards and collect all the ripe “secondary” clusters. Some are at 23 Brix. As students, you will hand destem and crush them hydrate the yeast and pitch the yeast along with some fermentation tannins.
Along the way, Bob, our winemaker, will talk about winemaking and its history.
Winery staff will rack the wine. Students can come back and bottle it in 6 months.
