Okies Neighborhood National Night Out

So…WHAT IS NATIONAL NIGHT OUT?
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Its purpose is to provide a great opportunity to bring ALL Muskogee residents together under positive circumstances.

Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide, typically it’s hosted on the first Tuesday in August.

Here in Muskogee, OK…on Tuesday, August 1st 2017, 6 locations for these events has been chosen. Be sure to join the fun by attending the event nearest to where you live. Each location will have organizations providing community service resources, musical entertainment, inflatables & games for the kids and FREE food for all!

o Port City Acres
o Green Country Village

Plan to attend one of these additional NNO events:
~Thursday, July 27th – Night Out at the River Country Water Park from 6:00pm to 8:00pm – sponsored by Bravado Wireless.
~Saturday, July 29th – Paws @ the Park: Dog Costume and Trick Contest from 10am to 12pm at the Coody Creek Walking Trail & Dog Park.
~Saturday, July 29th – Prescription Drug & Disposal Event from 10am to 12pm, location the Muskogee Health Department.
