The Roxy Theater
The center of downtown Muskogee’s cultural activities is The Roxy Theater. The theater opened in 1948 as a movie theater and still holds the ambiance and charm of a post-WWII era movie theater. Beautiful architecture, art deco glass and tile, fully restored original seats and neon signs make the theater as much of a destination as the shows inside. The Roxy holds theater-style live productions, musicals and family style movies. Also home to the Oklahoma Movie Hall of Fame.
