Are you planning an event in Muskogee? The Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism can help!

The Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism sets aside funds in their fiscal budget to assist with development and promotion of local events and projects that demonstrate an economic impact through overnight hotel stays, sales tax generation, enhancing the visitors experience and/or publicity of Muskogee as a destination for visitors.

  • Suggested itineraries and unique venues to hold your event
  • Welcome speeches
  • Step-on guides for group tours
  • Booth displays at Opening Ceremony
  • Goodie bags with Activities Guides, lapel pins and maps, etc.
  • Honorary Okie from Muskogee plaques for special guests of your event
  • Businesses with a marquee to post welcome message to your group all over town
Advertising Assistance – 
  • Mention in the Chamber of Commerce’s Monday Morning Memo (if appropriate)
  • Press Releases sent to the Oklahoma Travel and Recreation Department’s “Travelwire” that reaches all state media, radio stations, outlying area newspapers

How you can help us help you –
  • Notify us of the need for these services a minimum of three weeks in advance
  • List www.visitmuskogee.com on all communication with your attendees to help them plan their trip to Muskogee. Our site is helpful to visitors in choosing tings to do, places to try, and of course, the hidden gems of Muskogee, those things not to miss while they’re in town that the locals take for granted.
